Legal Assistant – Residential Property Dept

We are looking to recruit an experienced Legal Assistant to join our Residential Property Department at our head office in Nuneaton.

Duties and responsibilities include assistance with all aspects of residential conveyancing transactions, production of documentation under supervision such as Contracts and Transfers and transcribing of letters and other correspondence using digital dictation, maintaining files to the Conveyancing Quality Scheme (CQS) standard, completing and submitting Land Registry forms, dealing with  clients both in person and over the telephone and undertaking housekeeping duties such as filing.

The ideal candidate must have legal support/secretarial experience working to tight deadlines in a fast paced residential property department. They must possess excellent typing skills, be able to prioritise, multitask and have exceptional communication skills. They will also need to be proficient in the use of MS Word, Outlook, Digital Dictation and have experience working with a Case Management System.

This is a full-time, office based position working 36.25 hours per week - Monday to Friday, 9.00am to 5.15pm (1 hour for lunch). Salary to be discussed at interview.

Residential Property Solicitor or Conveyancer

We are looking to recruit an experienced Solicitor or Conveyancer to join our Residential Property team at our Head Office in Nuneaton or our branch office in Hinckley. This role is due to the growth and expansion of the existing department.

The ideal candidate must be either a qualified solicitor with a minimum of 3 years post qualification experience in Residential Property or an experienced Conveyancer with at least 5 years experience, ideally all acquired at the same firm, and be able to handle matters from the initial instruction through to completion. They must possess excellent communication skills and be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment and to tight deadlines/targets.

This is a full-time, office based position working 36.25 hours per week - Monday to Friday, 9.00am to 5.15pm with an hour for lunch however flexible and remote working will be considered.
