LDJ Solicitors have raised £100 through donations from their staff for local charity Doorway. The firm collected donations from their staff at the Nuneaton and Hinckley offices throughout December 2012 rather than staff sending Christmas cards to one another.
Doorway is an independent charity working in Warwickshire, enabling young homeless people aged 16 – 25 to secure and maintain appropriate accommodation through prevention, crisis intervention and tenancy sustainment.
Nikki Greenwell, Solicitor and Head of the Dispute Resolution Department at LDJ Solicitors, who presented the £100 cheque from the Firm to Carol Gallagher CEO of Doorway said: "We are delighted as a Firm that the monies raised can go to such a well deserving local charity. I have seen first hand, as a Housing Solicitor, the excellent work which Doorway is involved in supporting homeless and vulnerable young people in the area. The young people which they support come from a variety of different backgrounds and the support provided by Doorway can provide the practical and emotional support these young people so desperately need."
LDJ Solicitors have specialist Housing Law Solicitors and hold a Public Funding Franchise for Housing Advice and Assistance.
