Around 60 business people from Hinckley and the surrounding area came together for the third Leicestershire Info2Grow business growth event.
LDJ Solicitors along with accountants Stewart, Fletcher & Barrett (SFB), Lloyds Bank, Hinckley & Bosworth Borough Council, the Hinckley BID and the Federation of Small Businesses (FSB) organised the event which took place on 10th September at The Green Rooms in Hinckley.
Themed as ‘Access2Finance’, delegates were treated to four presentations. Narinder Singh Pooni outlined the grant funding available through the Leicester & Leicestershire Economic Partnership. Jackie Ledger spoke of ways the Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire & Leicestershire Chamber of Commerce could help local businesses. Alan Ison of Lloyds Bank reiterated that the banks ARE lending, with Lloyds proud statistic of lending to 8 out of 10 businesses. Finally Kevin Bragg informed the audience of the financial support the Federation of Small Businesses could offer.
The event also provided a valuable networking session, with many delegates meeting a number of new business contacts.
