It was a sad day at the offices of LDJ Solicitors when highly respected local lawyer Brian Sheridan officially retired on Tuesday 31st March 2015.
Brian decided to call time on his long and illustrious career after 40 years with the firm.
Qualifying as a Solicitor in 1974, having completed his articles at the firm, Brian left in 1975 to join Suffolk CPS as a county prosecutor before returning to LDJ as a Partner in 1977.Specialising in criminal law, Brian has dealt with wide variety of cases in his time from road traffic crime to murder and everything else in between. All of which has made him a well known and respected figure within the local community.
Keen not to let Brian slip away to spend more time on the golf course without saying goodbye, the partners and staff made a presentation to him and will be having a farewell party.
Graham Ridgway, Managing Partner of the firm said, "Brian will be sadly missed by both his clients and the firm. His legal skills and knowledge and his loyalty and good humour are irreplaceable. I hope he will come back to see us as often as his retirement plans allow".
