New Lease for Under-Threat Riding School

New Lease for Under-Threat Riding School

We are delighted to have assisted the Equestrian Centre, known as "the riding school for the disabled, in Galley Common, Nuneaton in securing a new 15 year lease after being under threat from closure by the local council.

Partner, Alan Edgington, championed the riding school back in 2014 when the school was forced to embark into a legal battle with the council due to a dispute over the property agreement. In December 2014, court proceedings were halted by a Judge so the parties could enter into discussions and advoid further legal costs. Alan continued his support and those disucssions resulted in a new lease for the school.

It is great news for the school, riders, supports and local community who can now be assured this precious local asset will remain open.
