We are delighted to announce that in an independent peer review conducted for the Legal Aid Agency (LAA), our Housing Law Team was rated – Competence Plus, one of the highest possible ratings that can be awarded.

Peer Reviews are one of the audit tools used by the Legal Aid Agency to monitor provider performance. This involves a panel of independent and experienced legal practitioners assessing the quality of legal work against a set of criteria and levels of performance set by the Legal Aid Agency. This is regarded as the best method available to measure the quality of advice and legal work of legal aid providers.

LDJ Solicitors was the first firm in North Warwickshire to obtain and hold a quality mark for Housing Law from the Legal Aid Agency many years ago and is now widely regarded as one of the leading firms for Legal Aid Housing Law in the whole of the Warwickshire area. Our peer review rating showcases our compliance and underpins our commitment to providing comprehensive advice and representation to tenants and homeowners who are either homeless or are threatened with re-possession.

Nikki Greenwell, a Partner, and Head of the Housing Team said “I’m delighted with our peer review rating from the LAA. The team works tirelessly to meet the needs of our clients whilst at the same time adhering to strict guidelines set out by the LAA. It’s a lot of work but the team is committed to providing and continuing in the firm’s rich history of delivering a first-class legal service to our clients”.
