The first social of the year saw team LDJ hit the lanes once again in an attempt to leave no pin standing in our annual department verses department bowling competition.

This year, the Private Client team toppled the opposition to win the departmental match up over three friendly but competitive games. And they didn’t stop there, they also scooped two of the individual prizes for bowling the highest scores too, toppling last year’s defending champion, Caroline Houghton (Conveyancing Paralegal).

In game one, the top bowlers were Lorna Watts (Partner & Head of the Private Client team) and Craig Everitt (Practice Manager) who shared the spoils with 137 points each. In game two, Sophie Dawkins (Trainee Solicitor) won with 133 points and in the third and final game, Lucy Bradford (Private Client Paralegal) finished on 138 points. Superb bowling all round! (We shall spare the blushes of the team who won the wooden spoon – pictured below).

The night was topped off by our wonderful friend and former cashier, Alison Hill, who attended the event to cheer on the teams.

It was a fantastic evening filled with fun, laughter, and pizza!
