Get to know Lorna
Lorna joined the firm in 2011 and became a Partner in April 2019. She is based at our Nuneaton office and specialises in the preparation of Wills and Powers of Attorney; Grant of Probate applications and the Administration of Estates; the Creation and Administration of Trusts; Inheritance Tax Planning and advising upon issues affecting the elderly including the Protection of Family Assets. She also has extensive experience advising individuals who have received a diagnosis of Alzheimer’s or Dementia and their families upon legal issues arising from their condition including Protecting Assets, Power of Attorney and applications to the Court of Protection for the appointment of a Deputy.
Lorna graduated from Aberystwyth University in 1993 and undertook her Legal Practice Course at the College of Law, Chester. She qualified as a Solicitor in 1997 and is a full professional member of the Society of Trusts and Estates Practitioners.
In her spare time Lorna enjoys going to the theatre with family and baking all kinds of delicious sweet and savoury treats. When Lorna isn’t engrossed in the latest fictional novel, she also plays the piano and has a love for all things Italian, even being able to speak some of the language.
