A partner since 1977, following articles to a former senior partner of the firm, Martin heads the Conveyancing Department at Nuneaton, dealing with all types of property and business related legal matters. Martin has been senior partner since 1995. Martin is a member of the Warwickshire Law Society Non-Contentious Business Committee.
Head of the Commercial Property & Services Department
Alan left school at the age of 16 and started as a junior with Mr. Reg Bull, a well respected local solicitor. Alan qualified as a solicitor in 1975 and was a partner in his old firm for over 20 years before joining LDJ. Alan deals with commercial property and estate development, with particular emphasis on the acquisition, planning and development of commercial and residential estates for a number of builders and developers, as well assisting many clients with their general commercial requirements.
A partner since 1997, Graham heads the Private Client Department specialising in Wills and the administration of estates and is also the Managing Partner. Graham also deals with inheritance tax planning and elderly client matters. Graham is based in Nuneaton office.

A partner since April 2000, having qualified as a solicitor in 1993, Simon is based at Nuneaton office where he heads up the criminal department. He deals with criminal defence advocacy and is mostly found at Court or Police Stations. He does both publicly funded and private work. Simon is also the firms training Partner.
Preya joined the firm in March 2014 as a Solicitor in the Private Client department at our Hinckley office and became a Partner in April 2016. Having graduated from De Montfort University, Preya Undertook her Legal Practice course at Nottingham Law School and worked and trained at a multi office firm in Leicester, she has been working in the Private Client area since 2008.
Preya Specialises in Wills, Powers of Attorney, Probate administration, the Creation and Administration of Trusts, Court of Protection Applications, Inheritance Tax planning and managing Tax affairs.
Head of the Dispute Resolution Department
Nikki joined the firm in 2002 as a Trainee Solicitor and qualified in 2004. In January 2012 Nikki was appointed as Head of the Dispute Resolution Department and then as a Partner in April 2017.
Nikki’s main practice area is Property Law, acting for both commercial and private Landlords and Tenants in County Court and High Court cases. LDJ Solicitors also runs the Housing Duty Solicitor Scheme at Nuneaton County Court where Nikki regularly attends court as the Housing Duty Solicitor assisting people who are threatened with homelessness. Nikki also handles Personal Injury cases, Contentious Probate matters and Consumer/Commercial Disputes.
